A perfect trip for divers seeking thresher shark encounters at Monad Shoal and the pristine reefs surrounding Panglao and Balicasag islands.
Based on our Island Hopping Safari, this itinerary first takes you to the beautiful island of Malapascua at the northern tip of Cebu. Surrounded by bright white sandy beaches, broken up by small rocky outcrops and clear blue waters, Malapascua is famous the world over for its thresher sharks, which are seen daily in the waters surrounding the island, specifically at Monad Shoal.
Your second week is spent exploring the reefs surrounding Panglao Island and nearby areas including the dive sites of Doljo, Arco Point and Black Forest at Balicasag.
If you're looking for a longer stay, you can mix and match five different dive centres at a selection of destinations: Alona Beach on Panglao Island, Malapascua, Cabilao, Dauin for Dumaguete, Moalboal. Below is one possible itinerary.
