While the Bahamas is predominantly flat, San Salvador is the tip of the vast underwater mountain reaching abyssal depths, creating an underwater topography of spectacular reefs and plunging wall dives. The visibility and marine life are outstanding, while the area is known for regular encounters with hammerhead sharks.
