With its eclectic mix of marine life and diving experiences, Alor’s aquarium offers encounters with big marine life, colourful reefs and an assortment of critters. It's simply, world class.
This diving adventure to the Alor Archipelago, one of eastern Indonesia’s remotest locations, offers an enchanting allure to experienced divers. Alami Alor Dive Resort is perfectly located for diving in the Pantar Strait, an area in the Indonesian Throughflow where large volumes of water flow from the Pacific to the Indian Ocean. Subsequently, there are thrilling dive sites here, offering encounters with blue whales and other large pelagic species. In addition, there are muck diving sites to be explored and plenty of critters to be identified.
Alor is an underwater photographer’s paradise - you’ll need both a macro and wide-angle lens. Marine life offers a bit of everything from pygmy seahorse and rhinopias to colourful coral walls and encounters with sharks, rays and whales.
Time your visit with the full or new moon for amazing hammerhead shark encounters.
