Spend a week in the western part of Fiji on the Mamanuca Islands, where highlights include large pinnacles and a wide variety of reef fish at Gotham City and plenty of sharks at Supermarket. With unlimited diving from your resort, divers can discover a vast region of virgin reef, islands and tiny islets to explore.

Follow your stay at Mamanuca with a week exploring the magnificent Bligh Water, where you'll find unspoilt reefs, fabulous corals, fans, sponges and abundant marine life.

Suggested itinerary

  1. Day 1: Depart the UK for Fiji via Los Angeles

  2. Day 3: Cruise transfer to Castaway Island in the Mamanuca Islands

    Check-in for a week long stay at Castaway Island Resort on the Mamanuca Islands. Enjoy unlimited diving here during your stay.

  3. Day 10: Catamaran transfer to Nadi, followed by scenic drive to Rakiraki

    Check-in to the Wananavu Resort in Rakiraki for a further seven nights.

  4. Days 11-15 : Explore the Bligh Water without a liveaboard!

    Magnificent Bligh Water has been traditionally the premier liveaboard dive area in Fiji, now you can also experience the unspoilt reefs from a land based dive facility. More than 50 dive sites are regularly visited, most being no more than twenty minutes away.

  5. Day 17: Depart for the UK via Nadi and Los Angeles

  6. Day 18: Arrive UK

Mamanuca & Yasawa Islands

The western part of Fiji is made up of the stunning Mamanucas and Yasawa Islands, where you can count on warm sunshine pretty much all year round. The tropical blue waters are alive with marine life and coral gardens, delighting divers of all levels.

Bligh Water

Magnificent Bligh Water has traditionally been the premier liveaboard area in Fiji, although is now accessible from land. Divers can see mantas, numerous shark species, large schools of fish and superb coral gardens, and enjoy drrift dives over steep walls and pinnacles.

  • Ideal for viewing: grey reef shark, white-tip reef shark, bronze whaler shark, green turtle, black-tip reef shark
  • Excellent for: Liveaboard diving, Manta ray, Reef diving


The journey to Rakiraki is a pleasure in itself, along the glorious northern coastline of Viti Levu. Underwater delights can be found either snorkelling or diving Bligh Water, famous for its colourful soft corals, critters, sharks, turtles and yet more soft coral.
