The MV Rodney Fox liveaboard operates a variety of two, three and four night trips throughout the year. These ultimate adventures offer surface and ocean floor cage diving experiences for shark enthusiasts and thrill seekers. The two night adventures only offer surface cage diving and you will need to be at least Open Water qualified to dive in ocean floor cages on the three night expeditions.

Being an ocean floor cage diver is a unique experience and gives you the chance to encounter a great white shark like very few have, face to face in their domain! As you lower to the floor with your other buddies and a crew member, you can expect to see giant smooth rays, eagle rays and grouper – but keep an eye out as the great white shark appears from nowhere and majestically and effortlessly swims by. Truly breathtaking!
The three night itineraries include swimming with seals at Hopkins Island, two full days of shark viewing and diving in the Neptune Islands, boat trips to see the fur seal colonies up close, an educational talk on great white sharks and the option to get involved with current research programmes. May to October is the main viewing season, when the growing seal pups start to venture further from the safety of the shore and start hunting for themselves.
Non-divers have the option to upgrade on board, so they can get in the surface cages, should they desire!
